ABOUT

What is it that fuels you? For me, it’s Classy Cooks. I love searching out new and interesting recipes and tailoring them to suit the tastes and abilities of young and aspiring cooks. Supporting children as they develop their own interests in cooking and their growing confidence in food preparation techniques and their broadening exposure to new ingredients is truly inspiring. And the best thing about working with food, apart from the obvious eating of course, is that you can find a recipe that supports pretty much any aspect of learning - be it cultural, historical or geographical! The very nature of understanding and following a recipe builds numeracy and literacy skills, to say nothing of learning to prepare food at a young age can help to build a strong foundation of healthy eating to carry them throughout their lives. 
 

On the legal side I have Food Hygiene Rating 5, 

DBS accreditation, Certificate in Food Safety, Hygiene & HSCCP Level 2, Certificate in Catering for Health, Certificate in Food Allergy Training, Certificate in Paediatric First Aid, Certificate in Safeguarding Children Level 2, Certificate in Challenging Behaviour and Public Liability Insurance.
